STFUConservatives - always worth reading. This post made me think. And shift my position - though not towards STFUc. The language of both sides is just wrong here. It’s not “men” who need to do anything. And definitely not “women”. It’s the 99% of men *and* women who find rape abhorrent, who find it unacceptable when defence lawyers attack the character of women who have been raped. The enemy here though are the violent criminals who commit this act of aggression - not the opposite gender! We *do* need to say enough. And by “we”, I mean both genders. Together. ”Slutwalks”, with both men and women, are one of the ways we can do that.
